The last few weeks early morning training routine have been fantastic.
There's just something magical about starting the day with a good workout and a dose of sweat, especially when you're surrounded by like-minded people. This morning, the Tewantin Runners group set me up for an absolutely fantastic day – a feeling that no amount of caffeine can beat. It's like my body is filled with "happy hormones," and I'm propelled into a positive winning streak right from the get-go. The impact of my morning training goes far beyond the physical aspect. I prepare breakfast for my kids and get them ready for school with much more ease and even pleasure! I find myself tackling work tasks and hard conversations with newfound confidence. It's as if the morning workout sets a positive tone for the entire day, making everything seem much more manageable and enjoyable. I won't lie; getting up at dawn to train did take some time to get used to. I'm italian and getting up early, especially to train, is not in our genes. And it is still hard at times. But it is so worth it. There's something special about the psychological feeling of accomplishment that comes with completing a workout before the sun is fully up. Maybe it's the body coming alive after a restful night's sleep, or perhaps it's the energizing effect of shaking off morning drowsiness. Whatever the reason, the transformative power of morning training is undeniable for me. My alarm is set early for tomorrow too. I found a group of like-minded runners and active individuals. And I watch my days take on a whole new level of positivity and productivity. Comments are closed.
