Conviction

​Today, I found myself reflecting on the role of conviction in my life. Conviction, to me, is that unshakable belief in oneself and one's purpose. It's the driving force, the fire in my belly that keeps me going, even when the road ahead is uncertain or challenging.

Throughout my life, I've discovered that conviction has been the foundation of my successes. As a young man leaving Italy to find my place in the world, as a young adult moving to the other side of the globe to take on a demanding job in search of fulfillment and a future, as an endurance runner pushing through my perceived limits to raise funds for causes I believe in, and as a father and husband providing support and stability for my family.

To this day, strong conviction has guided me with enormous power throughout my life, and I hope it continues to do so. 
I also aspire to keep listening and understanding differing perspectives, even when they challenge my own beliefs, without feeling threatened by opposing views. Instead, I aim to engage in meaningful discussions, learn from others, and grow. 
And through this process, become even more motivated to stay true to myself and my convictions.
